Sun Kush

Not to be confused with the unrelated strain Sunshine Kush, Sun Kush is an indica-heavy hybrid cannabis strain possibly bred by Midnight Roots Genetics in Michigan. Sun Kush is genetically descended from the balanced hybrid Sunshine #4 and the indica-dominant hybrid Fire 18. Users say this lineage gives Sun Kush prominently soothing indica effects while also providing fast-acting energetic sativa properties, especially at the beginning of the session. The Sun Kush strain has a super-sour fuel aroma that sweetens as the flowers are ground up. Caryophyllene, myrcene, and limonene terpenes also give this strain a potent spicy citrus flavor profile, with a mild diesel exhale when smoked. Elongated and bumpy, Sun Kush flowers have forest green leaves, a dark purple base, spindly amber pistils, and a generous coating of sunny orange sticky crystal trichomes.
