Strawberry Gelato

Strawberry Gelato is an indica-dominant hybrid strain that has multiple lineages, depending on the variety you find. First, Elev8 Seeds crossed Gelato #33 x Strawberry Snow Cone, but there is also a lesser-distributed version of this strain that was created by Haute Genetique, who crossed Strawberry Cookies and Acai Gelato (Gelato #49). There might be other genetic crosses that bear this same name, too.

Strawberry Gelato has notes of sweet fruitiness as you would expect, but there is also a strong aroma of diesel and earthiness. The flavor is mostly sweet berries with a hint of spice on the exhale. This strain has small, dense nugs with dark undertones and bright pops of orange. Strawberry Gelato should not be confused with Strawberry Cherry Gelato, a similarly-named strain with different origins The euphoric uplift of Strawberry Gelato is balanced with a deep sense of relaxation, so don't rely on this strain when you have a lot to do.
