Sour Melon

Sour Melon does exactly what the name implies: mashes melon candy sweetness into Sour Diesel's fuel tank and lets the smoke sort it out. Karma Genetics built it from two of their in-house staples: the Melon KG cut crossed with Sour D BX3, a third-generation backcross that locked down East Coast diesel funk while boosting resin output.

Karma Genetics has been Holland's diesel whisperer since 1999, founded by the low-key breeder known simply as Karma. After cutting his teeth in Dutch coffee shops and grow stores, he turned a one-man seed project into a global network of growers who stress-test every release. Karma's ethos leans spiritual — breeding guided by patience, good energy, and an obsession with clean genetics. That focus gave the world diesel royalty like Headbanger, Biker Kush, and Sour Power OG, and Sour Melon keeps that lineage humming.

The buds lean dense, resinous, and have a nose that cuts through the room: overripe cantaloupe, diesel exhaust, and a faint peppery funk that lingers long after the jar's closed. Limonene, myrcene, and caryophyllene likely lead the charge, giving the profile its citrus lift, fruit depth, and spicy backbone.

Reports say the high hits deep — body-first relaxation with just enough head lift to keep things conversational before gravity wins. It's that signature Karma balance: cerebral calm up top, tranquil weight below.

Sour Melon isn't a daytime sipper — it's the post-shift pour that smooths out the static.
