Sour Diesel Bx2
aka SDBX2, Karma Sour Diesel BX2, Tha Sowahh
Karma Genetics ran Sour Diesel back through the refinery for Bx2, crossing its 2007 Karma Sour D cut with Karma Sour D BX1 to pull the line toward the screaming East Coast Sour that filled rooms in 2008 and 2009. Historically called Tha Sowahh, it was bred as an old-school Sour restoration rather than another vaguely diesel-flavored hybrid.
This one does not whisper gas. Astringent sour fuel hits first, chased by hops, sharp lime, and an earthy edge. The smoke turns greasy and mouth-coating, leaving a heavy sour-gas finish with an old-school Afghan-like weight underneath. Reports describe a fast cerebral launch with giddy energy and clear-headed lift, balanced by a light physical anchor rather than heavy sedation. Plants generally grow tall and narrow with serious stretch, eventually stacking oversized Sour Diesel colas that may require support.
Sour Diesel Bx2 is a moderate-difficulty strain that carries the tall, stretchy structure typical of Sour Diesel. It performs well both indoors and outdoors, provided you've got room for that height. Flowering runs roughly 8–12 weeks, and you can expect medium-to-high yields with dense, resin-heavy colas. It leans toward a warm, dry climate with good airflow around those tight, gassy flowers. Released only as regular, non-feminized seeds, this backcross selection shows expression that varies from one phenotype to the next. That variation fits Karma's aim of faithfully recreating the 2008–2009 Sour D.
