The origins of Royal Slippers are more elusive than an invite to the royal ball. It's unclear where Royal Slippers, a sativa-dominant hybrid strain, came from, including the parent strains. But there are a few lineages under the strain name that appear to vary by region and by product.

Red Dirt Sungrown in Oklahoma cultivates a concentrate from a cross of Ice Cream Cake x Cinderella 99. And another version available in Missouri is a cross of Royal Highness x Koolato. Gold Rush, an extracts maker also in Oklahoma, makes a concentrate form of this strain but parents are unlisted.

This strain most commonly appears in concentrate form to buy, although flower may be found from time to time. Most of the information we have on Royal Slippers comes from consumer feedback, which highlights a skunky yet sweet and fruity aroma with notes of earthiness in the exhale.

Royal Slippers is thought to get its name from its uplifting body-high effects that are said to make you want to dance the night away. So when the clock strikes midnight, you might find yourself with a case of the munchies — but unlike Cinderella, you get to keep the slippers!
