Red Delicious
Red Delicious gets its name, not from the heritage apple, but from its parent strains: Apple Fritter and Red Pop. The result is a deliciously aromatic strain that smells like hops, roses, and a hint of earthy funk, savory and complex. Red Delicious was bred by Washington-based breeder Exotix Genetix and boasts a dense bud structure with strong green colors, bright orange hairs, and a thin layer of glistening trichomes. An initial burst of euphoria is followed by a steady decline into sedation, making Red Delicious particularly well-suited for an end-of-day smoke session.
