Rainbow Kush, also simply called Rainbow, is an indica-leaning strain with a couple origin stories. The breeders at Amsterdam Marijuana Seeds (AMS) concocted the beautiful Rainbow Kush by crossing Master Kush, Hindu Kush, and Montel’s Pride. The breeders at Lifetime Seeds from Spain, however, created theirs by crossing Dancehall with Blueberry.
Rainbow Kush reportedly has a strong, memorable aroma of fresh coffee in the woods and a spicy, piney taste.

True to its name, Rainbow's glistening buds contain a variety of colors including fluorescent green and purple leaves, yellow highlights, and orange stigma hairs.
Rainbow Kush plants grow medium in height and are relatively easy to grow indoors or outdoors. This strain flowers in about eight to nine weeks and produces high yields of up to 425 grams of flower per square meter. Exposure to cooler temperatures later in the growing cycle can enhance the darker purple coloring.
The THC content has been reported to be between 16% to 20% THC.
