Flavors
- Berry (100% of reported flavors)
Depending on where you source it from, Purple Queen is confusingly either a pure indica variety or a pure sativa. But in both cases, Purple Queen has a powerful family tree from legendary landraces.
Origin 1: Purple Queen by Royal Queen Seeds
Released by Oregon-based Royal Queen Seeds, this Purple Queen is a heavy indica strain that comes from a cross of Hindu Kush and Purple Afghani. It produces a profoundly purple flower and super-sleepy, lock-you-in-the-couch effects. The kush genetics shine through with its flavor profile, but you'll also catch notes of lemon.
Origin 2: Purple Queen by Kannabia Seed Company
This version of Purple Queen is less common but is as close to a pure sativa as possible. This is a creation of the Spanish breeder Kannabia Seed Company and is a cross of a Thailand Landrace with an unknown skunk. Beyond this vague lineage, little else has been reported about this strain in terms of effects or flavor.
