Platinum Purple Kush, also called Purple Platinum, is one of those mysterious strains that not much is known about either the breeder or the plant’s genetics. Several sources claim that Platinum Purple has a fruity and earthy flavor profile, and is heavily coated with trichomes, which could be how it received the “Platinum” part of its name.
Despite being a favorite of West Coast consumers, growing information is equally scarce but several online sources seem to think Platinum Purple Kush should do well either indoors or outdoors, though it’s slightly difficult to grow. In a 10-week flowering period, this strain is said to produce chunky, purple and green colas with copious amounts of resin.
