Panna Cotta

aka Pannacotta

Panna Cotta is a creamy, decadent, and ultra-luxurious dessert, and as a strain, it makes for a delicious flower. The Panna Cotta strain comes from numerous separate crosses. Generally, they lean into Indica territory. But in most cases, very little information about effects and flavor notes is floating around.

Origin #1: Panna Cotta by Cannarado Genetics

As bred by Washington-based Cannarado Genetics, Panna Cotta is an indica-dominant hybrid produced from a Chocolate Thai and Cocomero cross. It's the most well-established of all the versions of this strain. Panna Cotta usually reaches heavy levels of THC and has a pleasantly creamy flavor profile rich in vanilla bean. The terpene bouquet hits all the right notes, rich in myrcene, limonene, caryophyllene, and linalool. Confusingly, Florcal Cal, a Missouri-based company, has cultivated this strain and attributes it to a different cross from Cannarado Genetics: Wedding Cake x Sundae Driver.

Origin #2: Panna Cotta by Made Men Genetics

Next is the Ice Cream Cake and Blue Cookies cross by East Coast's Made Men Genetics. Not much is available about aroma, effects, or flower characteristics. However, Made Men Genetics has since used Panna Cotta to create many other notable strains, including Blackberry Panna Cotta.

Origin #3: Panna Cotta by Brain Freeze Seeds

A third version of Panna Cotta is a Brain Freeze Seeds creation of Sour Ice Cake and Grandpa's Breath (F2). Other than these details, little information is available about this Panna Cotta.
