Amsterdam-based Paradise Seeds created the Opium cultivar as a combination of two unknown parent strains.
The top reported aromas of the Opium strain are soil, citrus, and spices. It is said to taste like fruit punch and grapes.

Opium is a balanced hybrid that produces medium-size plants with thick stems and bushy branches. The strain thrives in warm, sunny climates and will provide boosted yields when grown using the Sea of Green (SOG) method. Opium flowers in 60 days indoors and mid-October outside, with outdoor gardens capable of producing more than 21 ounces per plant, an above-average yield.
