Oaksterdam
The origins of Oaksterdam (also spelled Oakstradam) are somewhat mysterious: the original breeder is unknown, as are the parent strains, although it's generally accepted to be a descendant of OG Kush and perhaps Hindu Kush, which is thought to have been bred at Oaksterdam, where it got its name.
This indica-dominant hybrid strain has dense, lumpy buds with a multitude of green hues, light orange hairs, and a grinder-clogging layer of trichomes. The aroma of Oaksterdam is led by citrus fruits — sometimes lemons and sometimes oranges, followed by dankness, pine, spices, and a truly funky note. A discerning nose may also be able to pick out a subtle floral undertone.
Consumers report that this hard-to-find strain hits quickly, with effects settling in from the first toke. It starts with a sweeping wave of euphoria that lifts your mood before turning hazy and stoney. Many people report giggliness and the munchies, and couch-lock is entirely possible. Bring snacks.
