Oak Lato

Oak Lato was the first strain created by Oakfruitland, an Oakland-based cannabis breeder, and if you're a fan of Gelato strains, Oak Lato should be in your weed cabinet. This strain is a true hybrid, bred from two different strains of gelato: Gelato 41 and Lemon Cherry Gelato. The result is an aromatic and potent hybrid with an overwhelmingly sweet and creamy aroma, with distinct notes of ripe berries and citrus, and a punch of gas.

Oak Lato has the effects you'd expect from a hybrid: euphoric yet relaxing, uplifting yet calming, a perfect balance of mood-boosting and tension relief. However, given Oak Lato's family tree, these nugs are potent, and larger doses lean towards sedation. A few tokes reportedly make a big difference: a puff or two may leave you feeling calm and free, while an entire joint may lay you down on the nearest soft surface for a few hours — but you'll be glad to be there.
