Night Queen is a hybrid that leans heavily towards being an indica. This strain was originally bred by the Dutch Passion Seed Company in the 1980s, and the exact genetics are unknown — but it is well known for being a direct descendant of the Afghani landrace indica strain. Night Queen brings a complex flavor profile that transports you into a tropical forest, eating an apple and picking mangoes and citruses off of the nearby trees while you walk through a pungent, kushy aroma.

The deep green buds of Night Queen are coated in sparkling, sticky resin crystals and bright orange hairs. Consumers know this strain to produce a relaxing, uplifting effect first felt in the head, then brought to the body until the body is lulled into a state of complete sleepiness. Medical patients might turn to Night Queen to help relieve symptoms related to their anxiety, chronic pain, insomnia, and muscle spasms or tremors.

Night Queen is a notably easy indica to grow, thanks to its stabilized landrace genetics. The plant produces high yields of frosty buds when grown in ideal conditions. As a shorter, squatter bush, Night Queen does well in indoor gardens, though outdoor growers will also find success in semi-humid climates. The cultivar reaches maturity quickly, in eight to nine weeks when grown indoors. Night Queen is available as seeds and clones.
