Mountain Sage

California-based Cannabiotix crossed an indica-dominant Mountain Kush with their in-house strain Lemon Sage (pheno #50, to be exact) to create the aptly named Mountain Sage strain. This sativa-leaning hybrid has an enticing, lemon-forward scent with notes of fresh earth, spice, and herbs. The buds of Mountain Sage have a long and dense structure with multiple shades of green and thick red/orange hairs.

Like the beloved sativa strain Jack Herer, Mountain Sage is often high in terpinolene. However, the indica lineage of Mountain Kush comes into play in Mountain Sage's potent effect, reportedly delivering a unique combination of mental uplift and awareness with full body relaxation that quickly transitions into couch-locked sedation with a big enough hit. A few tokes of Mountain Sage will leave you calm and energized, but pack a big enough bong rip and you'll be awake and aware, and totally uninterested in moving.
