Melon serves the fruit with a side of fumes. Karma Genetics’ indica-leaning selection combines sweet green-melon flavor with a distinctly gassy OG edge. Its original parentage remains undisclosed; the Melon S1 release comes from selfing the selected Melon plant.
The appeal is the contrast: rounded fruit sweetness meets a heavier fuel finish, with a flavor the breeder describes as lingering through the session. Melon also became breeding stock for several Karma releases. Crossing it with Biker Kush produced Tha Melon, a separate descendant that sometimes gets confused with the original.
Available descriptions lean toward a calm, relaxing experience, with sleepiness and body tingles also reported. Detailed feedback on Karma’s specific selection is limited, so its reputation is better described as an evening unwind than a guaranteed knockout.
Karma’s Melon S1 produces medium-sized plants with broad fan leaves and a listed flowering window of 8–9 weeks. The breeder describes moderate yields and recommends selective leaf removal around the start of flowering to open the canopy.
