J1, otherwise referred to as Jack One, is a clone-only Sativa-dominant cross between Skunk #1 and Jack Herer. Created by an unknown West Coast U.S. breeder, J1 exhibits growth characteristics that would be expected from a traditional Sativa: thin leaves and fast growth.
Indoor cultivators are not advised to vegetate this strain very long as it stretches and grows aggressively during the first few weeks of the flowering period, which typically takes about 9-10 weeks.
Although J1 grows quickly, the strain produces few branches and tends to form one main cola — making it suitable for a Sea of Green (SOG) cultivation technique. The J1 cut creates translucent, trichome-laced buds.
