Hippy Slayer
Hippy Slayer brings peace of mind with a distinctly unpeaceful name. Bred by Bodhi Seeds, this indica-leaning hybrid crosses Dirty Hippy with Road Kill Skunk. Dirty Hippy contributes Afgooey and Blockhead ancestry, while Greg “Chemdog” Krzanowski later brought Hippy Slayer into the Smash Hits lineup at Canna Provisions.
Earth, pine, and spice give the flavor an unmistakably old-school bent. Chemdog singles out its resemblance to Afgooey, while other descriptions add sour fruit and a pungent skunky edge. The sweetness stays underneath the forest-floor funk. Incense could have a hard time covering this one’s tracks.
The Smash Hits crew describes a substantial body high with a calm headspace and an appetite ready to participate. Other strain accounts add euphoria and a creative streak, giving the heavier physical side a little mental company. Relaxation is the recurring theme; a guaranteed knockout is not. Your dinner plans may survive better than your to-do list.
Bodhi’s original seed line is documented as regular seed, and selected cuts have circulated among growers. Enhance Plants describes its Bodhi-selected cut as short and squat, with relatively loose, wispy flowers and abundant trichomes. Smash Hits flower is described as olive green with purple accents and a pronounced white resin coating.
