High Fructose Corn Syrup
A rare strain but a goodie, High Fructose Corn Syrup (aka HFCS) is an indica-dominant hybrid and reportedly a super-sedating cross between GMO and OZ Kush Bx2. The OZ Kush in its family was backcrossed not just once but twice. This Bx2 helped refine the cultivar's desirable characteristics. High Fructose Corn Syrup tends to have a terpene profile rich in beta-caryophyllene, limonene, linalool, and humulene, giving it a profoundly garlicky flavor profile, with unique umami underlayers. Other reports suggest there are notes of sweetness, like candy and fruit. Effects are stereotypically indica, translating into relaxation, happiness, and sleep. The original breeder for this strain remains unknown.
