Guava Jelly
Guava Jelly sounds like one trip through the tropical aisle, but three breeders have stuffed very different genetics into the same jar.
Origin 1: White Label's Guava Jelly is a 50/50 hybrid crossing Wedding Cheesecake, Strawberry Kush, OG Kush, and Durban. It's the most crowded family tree of the three, pulling Kush, Skunk, and African sativa genetics into one line. The nose follows suit with sweet berry and citrus colliding with anise, skunk, and earthy Kush underneath.
Origin 2: Grounded Genetics takes Guava Jelly straight into modern dessert territory, crossing Sweets with Jealousy. Sweets itself combines Guava Gelato with Sour Diesel Bx2, while Grounded's Jealousy male brings Gelato 41 × Sunset Sherbert Bx1 genetics into the equation. This version can throw deep purple flower under heavy resin, with guava and sweet berry layered over sour fuel, creamy Gelato funk, and occasional Sherbert notes.
Origin 3: Swamp Boys Seeds runs an entirely different recipe, crossing Forbidden Fruit with White 91. This balanced hybrid swaps the dessert-heavy Gelato family for Forbidden Fruit's fruit-forward genetics against the funkier White 91 side, keeping Guava Jelly fruity without sharing the family tree of either version above.
Across the Guava Jelly name, the common thread is fruit with some funk hiding underneath. White Label's cut is described as balanced before picking up a more energetic gear, while Grounded's version can lean harder into gas, resin, and the Gelato-Sherbert side of the family. Swamp Boys brings its own Forbidden Fruit-driven spin to the party. Same name, three jars, and enough genetic distance between them that ordering Guava Jelly without checking the breeder is basically letting the dispensary spin the wheel.
Guava Jelly's genetics and grow traits depend heavily on the breeder. White Label's 50/50 version crosses Wedding Cheesecake, Strawberry Kush, OG Kush, and Durban, producing vigorous plants with substantial lateral branching and a flowering period of roughly 8–10 weeks.
Grounded Genetics crosses Sweets with Jealousy, with selections known for resin-heavy flower, purple coloration, and dense bud development.
Swamp Boys Seeds takes a separate route with Forbidden Fruit × White 91. Detailed cultivation specs for the Grounded Genetics and Swamp Boys versions aren't consistently published, so growers should treat breeder-specific flowering times, yields, and plant structure separately rather than applying White Label's grow data across every Guava Jelly.
