Gingerbread
aka Ginger Bread
The first is a markedly indica-dominant hybrid that may have its origins as an in-house exclusive from Michigan-based grower and dispensary Weedys. It combines two other notoriously indica-dominant strains: Dough Boy and Oreo Cookies. This combination produces a creamy and spicy flavor profile, with a relaxed high that may be ideal for loosening up before bed or winding down after a long day at work.
The other variety of Gingerbread was created by Trichome Jungle Seeds from a cross of indica-leaning Miley’s Cookie and sativa-leaning Mandarina, which reportedly yields a well-rounded smoking experience with potent head and body highs. Compared to Weedys’ variety, Trichome’s Gingerbread has an equally complex flavor profile that adds a range of citrus notes to the more predictable sugary-spice notes. Based on most descriptions, its even balance of sativa and indica characteristics makes it a good candidate for a variety of situations and experience levels.
