Gaviota Mist

Gaviota Mist is the name of two distinct hybrid lineages, one a balanced strain and the other an indica-dominant hybrid. While one has a relatively straight-forward ancestry and accessible breeding notes, the other is a bespoke creation with a complex family tree and little indication of an original breeder.

Origin 1: Balanced hybrid (Unknown Breeder)

The more exotic variety of Gaviota Mist is an unspecified cross of Lime OG, Sour Crack, and Grape Crinkle. Though its origins are hazy, this type is beloved for its calm but social high, ideal for chilling with friends or adding a dose of relaxation to your dinner plans. Buds are leafy and bright green, with a thick layer of trichomes, and radiate a complex tropical fruit aroma with notes of roasted tea and earthy Kush.

Origin 2: Indica-dominant hybrid (Raw Garden)

The other variety of Gaviota Mist is an indica-dominant hybrid bred by Raw Garden from a cross of Do-Si-Dos and Cookie Pie #4. Especially popular in their resin lines, it’s beloved by fans and growers alike for its floral aroma and excellent trichome production, which typically causes its vibrant green foliage to all but disappear under a sticky crust. Reviews suggest you’d best expect a heavy high from this one, with most emphasizing its sleepy sense of sedation.
