Frosted Grapes is a now-retired strain developed by California-based breeder Romulan Genetics as part of their epic project to bring the legendary Romulan genetics from the 1970s and '80s into the modern-day cannabis breeding pool. Frosted Grapes is a cross of a Bret Bogue cut of Grape Ape and the now-famous original Romulan strain. The result is an especially heavy indica with a pretty unusual flavor profile filled with sweet grape soda and other notes of spice and chemical fumes. According to Romulan Genetics, this strain's effects are so heavy they will floor you, making it ideal for end-of-day sessions and nightcaps. This hard-to-find cross can be confused with Frozen Grapes and Grape Frosty, but Frosted Grapes is unique thanks to the highly sought-after Romulan-infused lineage.
