Emperor Cookie Dough grew out of a cross between Emperor OG and Girl Scout Cookies developed by Canadian-based BC Seeds. The breeders say this strain tastes and smells like cookie dough with a slightly minty aroma. Through continuous backcrossing and a focus on driving up potency, the latest batch of Emperor Cookie Dough tested at a whopping 40% THC and 4.21% CBD, according to the breeder.
Emperor Cookie Dough was named to High Times’ list of World’s Strongest Strains in 2016.
The squat hybrid is easy to grow, reaches medium heights of no more than four feet, and flowers in about eight weeks or September outdoors. Emperor Cookie Dough develops chunky, bright green buds with plentiful orange pistils and a heavy layer of trichomes. BC Seeds says the strain has very high yields no matter its growing environment.
