Durban Skunk

As a cross of two all-time classics, Durban Poison and Skunk #1, Durban Skunk is a surprisingly hard-to-find sativa-dominant strain. Adding to its mysterious nature, it seems to have been created a few separate times. The Real Seed Co. used a 1990s male Durban Poison, a Skunk #1 female, and then, through further refinements, recrossed the result with two Durban Poison mothers. Another Durban Skunk reportedly comes from Purple Caper Seeds as a cross of Durban Poison with Alpha Skunk. In both cases, the results capture that telltale skunkiness with flavors of anise, black licorice, and a touch of methanol. According to the reports from the lucky few who have tracked down this genetic, the high is said to be super buzzy with a long-lasting mood uplift and an intense euphoria.
