Deja Vu

aka Dejavu

Deja Vu is the name of several indica-dominant hybrids, including an exotic cross of Blackwater and Chem 91 attributed to Sunset Genetics. UMMA Genetics also claims credit for a proprietary Deja Vu strain, but has yet to reveal its exact genetic ancestry. The more commonly available variety begins with a cross of Kashmir and Afghani, then adds Kashmir and Colombian, though it's hard to track down a specific originator. While other varieties are cultivated under the same name, the more closely related Double Deja Vu strain is a newer phenotype of just Afghani and Kashmir.

Though details are scant on some Deja Vu strains, UMMA describes theirs as a versatile hybrid for daytime and nighttime use with a distinctive sour apple and banana flavor. Despite most exhibiting a marked indica dominance, even the more common variety is said to have an uplifting high with a strong creative burst and no mental fog. Fans describe a rich scent of spice and pine when smoking, while buds appear compact and dense, with balanced coloring that showcases a thick layer of trichomes and spiderwebbing of orange pistils.
