Curelato is an indica-dominant hybrid that comes with several competing narratives. In one case, it's a cross of Gelato #33 with an unknown strain from unknown breeders. Another story suggests it's Gelato #33 with Runtz, while still another telling suggests it's a Gelato #33 and Sunset Sherbet cross from The Plug Seed Bank. In the latter origin, it often goes by the name Currylato or Sunlato. Although the exact origins remain in dispute, the connecting thread here is that Curelato (or Currylato) is likely a Gelato hybrid, which means it's a tasty dessert strain with other notables in its family tree, like Girl Scout Cookies and Thin Mint Cookies. With so many versions of the strain, it's hard to pin down the flavor profile, but from the Gelato, it tends to have candy-like sweetness with nice citrus notes.
