Confiscated Chem
Parents
Confiscated Chem is bred by Prima from Creme Brulee and the breeder’s own I-95 Aviator, an inbred selection of I-95. Its Chem-family heritage shows up most in the nose: sharp diesel and skunky earth up front, with ripe cherry, a whiff of dry red wine, and bright lemon-citrus rounding things out. A pine edge and a peppery kick of spice keep the profile gassy rather than soft. If you've skimmed a couple reviews of this hybrid, that gas-forward cherry character is usually the first thing people call out.
Reviewers tend to describe the effects as euphoric and mentally uplifting, with a relaxed body feel that stays clear rather than couch-locking. Plenty of consumers reach for it during creative or social sessions, and some say it keeps them focused while the edge of a long day melts off. Fans of the strain often note a calm, easygoing headspace that leans daytime-into-evening. The buds themselves are dense and frost-caked, deep green streaked with violet and pinned with bright orange pistils.
Confiscated Chem is a beginner-friendly to moderate strain to grow. It stays fairly compact and bushy indoors, then stretches taller outdoors thanks to short internodal spacing and dense, resin-heavy colas. Indoor plants finish flowering in about 8–10 weeks and reward growers with roughly 450–550 g/m². Outdoors, plants can push up to around 600 g/plant under full sun. It does best in a warm, dry climate near 70–80°F, with humidity held around 40–50% during flowering. That keeps the tight, sticky buds safe from mold.
