Caramel Ice
aka Caramelice
Origin 1: Caramel Ice by Unknown
Caramel Ice is an indica-dominant hybrid strain from a cross of Caramella and Super Skunk. The result is a stunning and aromatic bud with fat, bright green nugs, thin orange hairs, and a frosty layer of trichomes. As the strain name suggests, Caramel Ice has a strong nose of sweet caramel, with pops of sour citrus and spice, and a lingering undertone of skunk. Consumer feedback on this strain describes a classic indica experience, with a creeping high that spreads from the top of your head down through your body, lifting your mind and calming any stress or tension. Couch-lock and unexpected naps are entirely possible, so bring a blanket and some snacks. Note: This strain’s lineage is from an unknown cultivator. Some people credit European-based Positronic, but their version of Caramel Ice is different.
Origin 2: Caramelice by Positronic
Spain-based Postronic crossed Hektol with Red Skunk to create Caramelice, a balanced hybrid strain. Some sources list this as indica-dominant, but Hektol is sativa-dominant, while Red Skunk is indica-dominant.
Caramelice had thick, vibrantly colored nugs with dark undertones and pops of red and purple in the leaves and trichomes. The buds have an intense aroma of citrus, with distinct notes of orange, lemon, and lime, with a caramel flavor coming through in the exhale. Consumer feedback on this strain is limited, but it is said to be similar to its Skunk parent.
This version of Caramelice is also available in a 1:1 version of THC:CBD, a type II chemotype.
