Black Tuna was created by British Columbia-based 5 Star Organic as a combination of Herojuana and Lamb's Bread. The breeders named the strain for the Black Tuna Gang, which was infamous for smuggling Colombian cannabis into the US in the 1970s.
The top reported aromas of the Black Tuna strain are earth, herbs, and skunk. It is said to taste of soil, spices, and citrus.
Black Tuna is a challenging cultivar to grow, so it’s best reserved for seasoned growers. While little cultivation information is publicly available, some growers report Black Tuna reaches heights up to 7 feet outdoors.
