Black Licorice

If you're a black licorice fan, lucky for you, there are several cannabis strains to discover, all with this exact same name. The first up is a rare strain, coming from Oregon-based breeder Lupos CannaSeed. Although little is known about its effects, flavor, or aroma, it is reported to be a cross of Jager and Permanent Chimera [#35].

The second Black Licorice option is more readily available and was likely developed by Meraki Gardens from a cross of Black Cherry Soda and Black Maduro. This is a well-balanced hybrid with mellowed-out, energetic, and creative effects, which shouldn't trigger any anxious feelings. What makes this version of Black Licorice stand out is the flavor. It's complex, with notes of black tea, berries, and, yes, hints of that savory black licorice profile popping through.
