The name alone is evocative but there’s a story to go with it. According to breeder Old World Organics, Big Sur Holy (also called Big Sur Holy Bud) got its start in the ’70s when a founder of the company received the seeds from a monk in Big Sur. It’s a cross of Zacatecas Purple and Mazar I Sharif.
Old World Organics says Big Sur Holy is a 70/30 indica hybrid that’s mold- and pest-resistant, does well indoors or outdoors, and has a high yield. It flowers late – 10 weeks indoors or late October outdoors in the Northern Hemisphere. The breeder says Big Sur Holy tends to produce uplifting, cerebral effects.
