Berry Runtz is a juicy sweet strain that supposedly comes from a cross between two classics: Zkittlez and Gelato. But, if you know anything about the legendary Runtz family of genetics, Runtz itself is a cross between Zkittlez and Gelato. Other sources claim Berry Runtz is a cross between Kushberries and White Runtz, created by SunMed Labs, a Maryland-based grower and producer. Long story short, the true origins of Berry Runtz are a mystery. But, wherever it comes from, this is a berry-forward strain producing dominant terpenes of limonene, beta-caryophyllene, myrcene, linalool, and pinene. Altogether, they give this strain its sugary, sweet flavor with a pungent, somewhat gassy aroma. People report Berry Runtz is quite happy and soothing, with sessions often ending in a giggle fit.
