Banana Tree

Don't be surprised if you find several iterations of the Banana Tree strain available in the cannabis jungle. (Banana Tree should not be confused with Banana Treez, which is an entirely different lineage.) Ripe with that sought-after banana-like flavor, these are the origin stories to look out for.

Origin 1: Banana Tree by The Grateful Seed Company

The Grateful Seed Company has crossed an Uprising Seeds Mendowood with a Strawberry Banana from DNA Genetics to create their version of Banana Tree. Known for its perfect genetic makeup for hash-making, with impressive resin production, its terp profile is a swirl of overly ripe banana, gas fumes, and tart apples. There are no available field notes about its effects.

Origin 2: Banana Tree by unknown

The next Banana Tree comes from a cross of Banana Dosido I95 and San Souci, created by an unknown breeder who may still be lost in the jungle. It is said to be an uplifting, energizing, sativa-like high without the edge and an excellent option for active, social evenings. The terpenes from this Banana Tree are complex, with notes of banana, bergamot, herbs, and a tart citrus pucker.

Origin 3: Banana Tree by unknown

A final Banana Tree, also of unknown origins, is a cross of Bananimal with Lemon Tree. Top terpenes in this version include myrcene, limonene, and linalool, providing an aromatic experience rich in herbs, zesty lemons, and subtle sweetness. This is yet another sativa-leaning hybrid with a high that reviewers describe as creative, energizing, and happy.
