The Afghan Cow strain's top reported aromas are vanilla, berries, flowers, and a hint of diesel. It is said to taste of grapes, vanilla, and fuel.

Afghan Cow features both indica and sativa characteristics, with tall plants and thick stems that are resilient to most pests and molds. The strain prefers warmer, Mediterranean-like climates, though plants grown in cooler weather also thrive. Afghan Cow flowers in 56 to 63 days indoors and benefits from the Screen of Green (ScROG) growing method. Outdoors, Afghan Cow reaches maturity in mid-to-late October.
