Updated 2023 Weedmaps Acceptable Use Policy

When you access or use the Weedmaps Products or Services, you agree that you will comply with this Acceptable Use Policy. This Acceptable Use Policy is incorporated into, and forms a part of, the Terms of Use that apply to you (the “Terms”). Capitalized terms used in this Acceptable Use Policy but not otherwise defined in this policy will have the meanings given to them in the Terms. Failure to comply with this Acceptable Use Policy is a violation of the Terms, and may result in your permanent or temporary suspension from the Services. We may amend this policy at any time, as described in the Terms.

Prohibited Activities

In connection with your use of the Products or Services, the Website(s), or your Account, you agree that you will not:

Violate any applicable law, statute, regulation, or ordinance, including applicable state and local laws. If you reside in the United States, see the "Acknowledgment of U.S. Federal Law" Section of the Terms of Use applicable to you.
Create false or misleading content, including reviews or posts, or compensate someone (or be compensated) to create or remove a review or post.
Post, transmit, broadcast, or make available content that (i) infringes or violates the intellectual property rights, privacy rights, or any other proprietary rights of any person or entity (ii) promotes bigotry, discrimination, hate, violence, or any other form of intolerance; (iii) is considered obscene (iv) is misleading or deceptive, (v) is threatening, abusive, or harassing; or (vi) is libelous or defamatory.
Manipulate (or attempt to manipulate) the price of any item, or interfere with any other user’s listings, reviews, or products.
Take any action that may undermine the feedback, reviews, or ratings systems on the Services.
Impair or harm any of our computer, technological, security, or related systems, or transmit software viruses, worms, Trojan horses, malicious code, spyware, malware, or any other damaging computer code, software, or files.
Interfere with, disable, or disrupt the Services, or any of the processes, servers, or networks supporting the Services.
Circumvent any technological or security measure we use in connection with providing the Services.
Use any robot, data mining method, spider, scraper, survey, monitor, or other similar data gathering or extraction tool, or any other means, to access, copy, download, or reproduce any user information, web page or other asset contained in the Services, or Content, including Weedmaps Business listings, descriptions, and prices, for any purpose.
Bypass our robot exclusion headers, or impose an unreasonable or disproportionately large load on our infrastructure.
Use the Services to distribute, promote, advertise, or post spam, unsolicited or bulk electronic communications, chain letters, pyramid schemes, or any related content.
Export or re-export any Weedmaps application or tool, except in compliance with the export control laws of any relevant jurisdiction, and in accordance with all relevant posted rules and restrictions.
Export any Content out of the jurisdiction in which it is intended to be displayed.
Access the Services in order to build a similar or competitive website or service.
Use a Personal Account to conduct commercial activities, including, but not limited to, offering products for sale, soliciting transactions, advertising, fundraising, contests, or other promotions.
Use or attempt to use anyone else’s Weedmaps username, password, Account, or other access credentials.
Assist any third party with, or solicit any third party to conduct, any of the prohibited conduct listed above.
