The founder of InfoCannabis comes from a long background of working with medical marijuana, including personal experience as a patient himself. Four years ago, he discovered concerning lumps on his neck, and instead of waiting for a diagnosis of cancer he began to use cannabis oil as a treatment. When he finally was tested for cancer, there were no signs of tumors and the lumps had disappeared. Wanting to provide the same medicine for other patients in need, the founder saw there were no local channels in Ottawa, Canada to access medical marijuana, and the clinics that were available charged ludicrous costs for their services. He vowed not to let any other patient struggle through the convoluted medical marijuana legal procedures again.InfoCannabis opened in 2011 as a 100% legal and compliant channel to connect patients to licensed physicians for prescriptions and cannabis doctors to provide throughout education.

InfoCannabis’ educational services are available across Canada. No matter what province patients live in, they are happy to find you a doctor willing to prescribe you medicinal marijuana and follow-up with intensive cannabis training and education once prescribed under Health Canada’s ACMPR program. Following prescription, patients go through a ninety-day program that walks them through everything they need to know about medical marijuana in Canada. As a member, patients have access to InfoCannabis’ network of medical professionals, producers, educational sessions and seminars, cooking and extraction classes, and growing equipment and accessories. They also offer private one-on-one training programs for patients who want to learn to grow.

To give back to their community, InfoCannabis is proud to provide free services to veterans and help connect them to veteran affairs so that their medication and some accessories are free of charge. They also offer a compassionate discount, where patients with incomes of less than thirty thousand a year receive a reduced application fee. InfoCannabis performs weekly or bi-monthly follow-ups with their patients for the first ninety days via phone or emails to ensure the effectiveness of patient's’ treatment and that all questions are addressed. Both walk-ins and scheduled appointments are welcome.

Thanks to their extensive network of doctors, licensed producers and cannabis consultants, they are able to connect patients to medical cannabis throughout all of Canada. Location Information:
Embrun, Ontario is one of the surrounding communities outside of Ottawa, that lies on the border of Ontario and Quebec. Close to the United States and Canada border, Ottawa is home to the National Gallery of Canada, the University of Ottawa and the Canadian War Museum. The Rideau River flows through the city itself, with the Ottawa River bordering it to the north. The Canadian Museum of Nature and Canada Agriculture and Food Museum are excellent tourist destinations, as well as the Fletcher Wildlife Park, the Glebe Annex, and Byward Market.
