I've been with Green Medical for 3 years and saw Dr Karen for all my visits. She is great and knowledgeable. Dr Karen take time to listen and address all my area of concerns unrelated to medical marijuana as well. Don't expect this to be a short visit (I.e. No in and out in like 5-10 minutes like some authorization mill). Medical record need to be make available with qualify condition or you will be denied with absolutely no exception. Due to her solo practice in a small examination room, Dr Karen will only see you by appointment. She won't allow anyone waiting in her room due to patient privacy. I saw her turn away patients that knock on her door without an appointment. Dr Karen also do primary care which I love as well. She is now my go to doctor for all my medical need.

I went in for a medical card application. Going to her office is a little tricky- you need to use a buzzer to access the elevator. The office is small with a couch to sit on. She just needed some medical records of mine and my ID. The process was quick and she answered all my questions. She also gave me her cell number to contact her outside of business hours with any questions.

Dr Karen La runs the joint, which (as of this writing) is a small room in a small office building. Half, or less than half, is dedicated to the "examination room." The room is separated by one of those cloth dividers you see in medical places so anyone sitting in the "waiting room" can hear anything you say. I'm not too shy so it didn't bother me much but you may have a different experience. I've seen Dr. La in both her old office (with a receptionist and everything, very posh) and the new and in both she was professional and knowledgeable. Dr. La is a naturopathic doctor and, like other ND's I've seen, she takes her time getting to know you and your problems. It was a very thorough intake, but very pleasant. All in all I recommend Dr. La if you're cool with the small room she operates out of right now (she might move to better digs but I don't know if or when). Everything else is perfect for me.

I have been to Dr. La three times, and find her to be well worth what she charges in terms of care.
