The man that was helping me initially apparently turned out to just be the notary and did "know" much about the questions I had for him. I have a severe back injury that requires daily pain management, when I turned to MMJ to help I was told I was taking too much of their time and the doctore entered the room and informed me I was holding up the line and would have to leave.
The doctors and other man that was there were rude and have given the medical marijuana industry a bad name. They are only in it for the $150 they charge you for the bullshit "consultation".
I highly recommend re-evaluating the way you are running your business, Maybe focus on people's needs rather than their money.
The Dr. who will remain nameless is being reported for poor practice and incomitance as a medical doctor.
Go here if you want to leave with a big feeling of being taken advantage of.
My claim went through in less than 4 weeks. I have no idea how it came back to me so fast. I guess they just see his signature and don't even look at the rest? Every other time it usually takes at least 5-6 weeks. For some reason with this Doctor I got my renewal card in about 3 weeks. No idea how it is so fast or what the deal is. I think they just know that he is a good REAL Doctor that actually makes sure a patient needs mmj? Who knows but go here even if you have to drive a ways. It's worth the short wait time.
I drove all the way down to this office from Fort Collins (they had an opening and the one here in Fort Collins is a little shady). I was expecting what every mmj Doctor office looks like. Just a quick in and out and no actual evaluation. This Doctor actually wanted to make sure I needed medical marijuana before prescribing it to me. I have chronic pain and need it, but I was happy to see a Doctor actually doing his job when it comes to giving mmj evaluations. He gave me a diagnosis and actually talked to me and my Wife for about an hour maybe a little less. He gave me advice on the best way to use it for my specific pain and was very informative. It was a pleasant experience like going to your local Doctor who you have known for years. If you are just looking for a quick mmj card and don't have the proper clinical needs don't go here. He isn't a sham Doctor that will just prescribe to anyone and give you a plant count of 20 or something ridiculous like that. He really seemed like a great Doctor and I would recommend him to anyone with serious need for medical marijuana. After my card comes through I will comment under here and let you all know just how fast and if any mistakes were made. It will be about 4 weeks they said.
After getting bad paperwork from my first doctor I was happy to have it done right for the first time. I'm a three time renewal at grassroots and will always be a loyal customer. Good job guys!
At the office, you are taken to a waiting room where you fill out paperwork. It took around 25 minutes to see the first doctor for my exam, then another 10 to pay for the application. It cost a total of $150 for both, and another $35 to the state. The reason for it being so expensive is because you get the "GrassRoots Medical Card" which is basically a buy one get one free program. The issue is however that the majority of them aren't on WeedMaps, so I can't really get any information on them. Kinda wish I would have gone to a cheaper doctor.
