I am multiply disabled and have a truly complex medical history.To find any doctor willing to read my medical history has been difficult since I was a child. Dr. Altvater is an outstandingly patient doctor who took the time to get to know me and discus my medical history. I strongly believe my non-cannabis doctors could learn a lot from Dr.Altvater. My visit was quick,easy and actually fun something most of my more traditional doctor's visits are not.He was also willing to wait for records from multiple doctors offices for my visit. In closing, I would highly recommend him.

When I made the decision to try medical marijuana I was referred to Delta 9. I emailed to make an appt which was pretty quick and flexible with time! I was emailed and invoice for payment and my appt was confirmed with all the details to prepare so you feel very comfortable. Dr Altvater was amazing! He was so informative and helpful and even worked with me on a plan to help. I have follow up and he has been available with questions. i highly recommend Delta 9!

I had my 3rd appointment last week with Dr. Altvatar, and I've been a patient with him for almost 2 years. I missed my originally scheduled appt due to a medical issue, which normally would result in having to pay the entire appt fee. He was very kind and accommodating as he always is, and also understanding of my situation. Bottom line is he knows his stuff, gives great recommendations for products that will treat my condition, and he always provides a relaxing environment which ncludes having Katie nearby for moral support! Highly recommended for any and all patients seeking all alternative therapy. Jason K

It was my first time meeting Dr. Altvater and my first time inquiring about using medical marijuana. My first impression was this guy knows his stuff about not only being a doctor and a medical pro of course but about the weed industry and its uses for medical purposes. I felt in good hands with him the whole time. He makes great conversation and has the best bang for your buck. I cant say how the other doctors that do this consulting are compared to him but I can say you wont go wrong with Delta 9 Medical.

I just had my first appointment with Dr. Altvater and I have to say that it was a fantastic experience. I learned so much more than I expected to even before meeting with him. He provided plenty of material to become familiar with which was incredibly helpful going into my appointment. Definitely glad I went with Delta 9.

Working with the Doctor here was a very pleasnat experience. He was very informative and I learned some things that are absolutely incredible. Make sure on the trip, you do extra homework with Map Quest to familiarize yourself w/ the highways becuase of your "GPS" losing signal @ a key moment, to take the right road... Parking was simple, right behind the Facility. Everyone was extremely friendly upon arrival. They also had no problem dealing w/ any issues or questions or concerns I had during the visit. This facility does things the right way the first time so you can feel confident that you are making the right decesion on your choice of medicine you use to treat your condition. I would not go anywhere else after being seen here...

Went to their website and followed directions - took awhile to get my papers together, but they were reviewed finally and I went to the visit. The office is nothing special it's in a doctors building - very simple - could use some updating. Very clean office both the doctor and the nurse were very helpful and gave me time to get all my questions answered. I did not like paying in advance but once I did the level of service did go from good to great. I did learn a few things from the doctor and plan to try some suggestions - now I need to find some good medicine. It did take close to an hour for the visit - I took the MBTA 5 min walk safe street also.

I immediately sent in my paperwork and payment as per the conditions of the website. I met with the doctor who was very abrupt and kept telling me how the whole medical process is a joke. I don't find my use for medical marijuana a joke. Regardless, I did as he instructed and did get my license. Upon further investigation though, I did confirm my hesitation to trust him. Dr. Altvater is being investigated for insider trading. He is very sketch and when I visited him, he bragged how he gave a caregiver card to his child so they too could enjoy his lifestyle. He also tried to get me to visit a non-dispensary to purchase items and told me to mention his name. He did his job and got me my license but I truly was uncomfortable with the whole procedure. When my 6 month license expires, I will be going to another doctor where I feel more comfortable. He also has changed his office location frequently.
