I was fortunate enough to have Dr. Michael Verbora as my Doctor. I have been on slow release Morphine for the past twenty years at a very high dose due to my severe arthritis in my lower back. Dr. Verbora intentionally scared the living daylights out of me when he told me all about the adverse effects of OPIOIDS! The chances of an accidental overdose is very high I learned. I have now weaned down and plan to be completely off the Morphine in October 2018. If it weren’t for the Canabo Clinic, I wouldn’t have weaned off the dangerous drug. Instead, I switched to Cannabis to help deal with my pain. My quality of life has vastly improved since being under Dr. Verbora’s care. The staff are courteous and without judgement. The Canabo Medical Clinic is located right on the subway line at Eglinton and Yonge. Very convenient! The only negative comment I have is that you always have to wait to be seen. Be prepared to provide a urine sample upon arrival for each and every visit.

I have been going for over a year and I was immediately very comfortable with the clinic. In the waiting were women my age (late forties plus) and not creeps that you see in the storefront dispensaries. Nice to have a clean female friendly clinic for middle aged women to go to

Friendly and good customer service #1 medical care

The staff at this location are very snotty and have been rude on several occasions to both me and others I've seen go in and out. And a urine test for obtaining cannabis? I feel like I've just walked into a methadone clinic.

The worst part about being a patient of Canabo is the harassment before each appointment. It starts two weeks in advance. This time I received 4 texts, 4 emails and today a phone call and another text. They also bombard you with lengthy and repetitive questionnaires which ask questions which should be asked face to face by the doctor. Why bother with a doctor when you've already been asked everything the doctor would ask? Then there are the rude staff and doctors. Almost every time I arrive for an appointment the receptionist is either not at the desk or gossiping with a patient or another staff member. The last time I was in their office it took half an hour's wait before I could even check in because staff were gossiping awith patient and ignoring me. For months I had a good doctor at Canabo, then he left and I'm stuck with patronizing, judgmental doctors who refuse to listen to me and insist on pushing CBD on me when I tried it before and it didn't work for me. They are discriminating against me because of the kind of health issue I have, they think I shouldn't have THC even though I've been using it for years with no problems and it helps my symptoms. The only reason I'm still with Canabo is that I plan to move out of the province next year and I'll find a new clinic once I move.

I was told I would get a phone call in one week. It has been two months, so I took upon myself to call. I was told we are busy and have patients across the country. I’ve been waiting this long dealing with pain from a spinal cord injury and the person I spoke with could care less.
