Went their seen the doctor was prescribed way too low of a dose of thc and way too low of a grams per day told Doctor all my issues mental and physical they cap your thc level and will refuse to sign if you plan to go to a dispensary or grow your own product

Dr. Smith told me that Health Canada has taken away the rights of some Dr.'s and surgeons for prescribing medical Cannabis because they were giving too much, so I was cut back. And my neurologist report is wrong, without an examine how can he determine that. I cannot take pain killers or antidepressants, "you cannot or will not" Dr. Smith asks me.???? He spent the time reading my Dr. report he should have seen that my Dr. actually tried an antidepressant with me just before prescribing medical Cannabis in 2013??? According to Dr. Smith I have nowhere else to go, WHAT, does he have his head in the sand. When I got so upset and frustrated I gathered my papers (medical proof) and told him ok do not sign, this was Oct 26, my license was up on Oct 27 and my Dr. sent a referral 30 days prior, he instructed me he would sign but had to cut me. Realized later it was only for 3 months, guess MSI gets to pay them 4 times a year, if I was to go back.

I filled out the necessary info before my appointment. 1st thing I'm doing a Urine & paying $15.00 cash for it. Then I'm told my Hep C is a Problem & that Weed can actually make it worse. Ok that's news to me, my Family Doctor, my Pharmacist & my Liver Specialist. They would not renew my prescription that was written by my now retired Family Doctor. So I went across the street & got it. These guys are Jokes.

There are more doctors and clinics that are much better and understanding with no judgement. I went to see this doctor and told me there was no hope for me and my chronic pain etc... when I was there wih him he started texting on his phone. I got a prescription but never used it. I rather go to friends than depend on this doctor. He has no clue. Also they tell you what dose and where you should get it from. legally you are allow to try as many types you want. They say what may work for one person may not work for someone else so for this dr to tell me what type and how much and do not use any other or buy from dispensary or I will lose my licence. I never bother going back to him and never purchase from the grower he recommended they never had anything to choose from except a few types that was it.

I seen this doctor and I know many people have also. I never heard one good thing about him. My doctor's refer me to him then when seen him he is rude and judges people. Research before choosing a doctor.

if i could give 0 stars I would, this place is awful, I waited 6 months for them to get back to me for an appointment, when I went to the appointment, dr smith was rude, arrogant and just offensive. I waited for 2 hours to see the next dr or whatever the hell it was, all the while watching patients who were behind me, go in ahead of me, I had enough, so I went to the desk and told them all what I thought of the place and them, unprofessional, unorganized, ignorant people. So after waiting all this time to get to the damn place, this is how i was treated, I walked out and will never go back, I got to pay 15$ for a piss test that was not necessary, had to pay to park 3 or 4 blocks away at the iwk because the underground parking at this place was conveniently closed on Saturday. This is just a brief summary of what I really want to say, just be warned, this place is a friggin joke and dr smith belongs at mcdonalds flipping burgers, not "treating" patients. Go across the street to NAC, a better place then this carnival attraction.

No one should have to deal with doctors like the sound of this one. If you really do need medicinal marijuana get in touch with green valley wellness, They are compassionate people and they do their best to help you get your prescription.
