About Us

Aurora Health Services provides Medical Marijuana Certifications in Laurel

Patients throughout Laurel and the surrounding areas can conveniently and safely access cannabis care through the team at Aurora Health Services. The Aurora team gladly invites patients to explore how medical cannabis can soothe their symptoms and promote a balanced, healthy life.

The physician behind Aurora Health Services’ cannabis clinic carries over a decade of medical experience and a true concern for all patients. The cannabis doctor witnessed firsthand how the opioid crisis instigated addiction, and sent users into a downward spiral of stronger and stronger medication. The doctor saw cannabis as a natural alternative for suffering Laurel individuals and wanted to provide patients an avenue for wellness that was free of addictive and unwanted side effects. Today, Aurora Health Services proudly supports patients in need on their journey towards lasting wellness through medicinal cannabis.

At Aurora Health Services, Laurel visitors enjoy a host of wellness services, in addition to medical cannabis certifications. From nutrition counseling to sports physicals, Aurora Health Services strives to be its patients’ ultimate resource for long-term wellness.

Process:

To see a medical cannabis physician, patients must first register with the Maryland Medical Cannabis Commission before meeting with an Aurora Health Services physician. Laurel patients then must call Aurora Health Services to schedule an appointment. Once registered, the doctor will evaluate the patient and assess those with qualifying conditions with a written medical cannabis certification. With this certification, patients can receive a registry ID card and purchase medical cannabis at any Maryland licensed marijuana dispensary.

Local Legislation:

Maryland’s medical cannabis law requires that patients must be diagnosed with a chronic condition including: appetite loss, muscle spasms, migraines and severe pain, among others. To discuss whether medical cannabis is right for you, schedule an appointment with the compassionate team at Aurora Health Services.
