I'm not sure what to those other two customers are talking about, I've already left a review a few months ago for this dispensary. The comments those 2 people left are VERY far from the truth. I have purchased herb, concentrates.. I cant say anything about there edibles cause I have not tried them, Everything is always top notch and there customer service is exceptional. I've smoked every strain they carry as of 9/3/18-5/28/19 and have never had "moldy", "dried out" or "harsh" bud. They do have strains that sometimes carry more earthy smells that dont carry that dankness smell, but that's due to strains and they do grow in dirt soil, but they have some real dank top shelf bud also. There prices are competitive with every other dispensary here on the peninsula and Tuesdays way cheaper! I live in Sterling and have visited this dispensary as a tourist before we moved here and have never been treated any different. I have met every bud tender and Chase as well, great people!A must stop!!!

They have good deals and the people are the best. I go out of my way to drive here because it’s worth it and although I have my favorites I’ve always gotten good suggestions when I want to try something new.

I stopped in looking for am edible with THC and CBD. Unfortunately I was unknowing in regards to how Alaska regulates edibles as I am from Colorado. Fortunately, the bud tenders were super knowledgeable, friendly, and demonstrated exceptional customer service. I ended up going with 1/4 flower that I hoped would meet my very stringent standards. The flower itself was super dense, aromatic, and sticky! Not that wet sticky , but the good sticky. the kind of stick you get when a plant has been grown with love! Honestly the flower when smoked was perfect. consistent burn throughout the bud that allowed for good hits. couple that with how smooth the smoke was and you have, what in my opinion is, the best flower in Alaska! Honestly I'd put this bud against any in Colorado.The quality is that good. Don't believe me though, go in and try it for yourself. It's an injustice to yourself not to try this product! It’s worth the drive out there to get their Frosted Cookies and Starburst. Anyone needing help falling asleep should try Starburst it works nicely and leaves you with a nice body high. Great service as always, friendly knowledgeable staff.

Great Place! Very friendly staff. Very knowledgeable and informative. And the deals are outstanding! Very nice buds and very little stem, best trimmed I’ve seen since leaving Colorado. And $10 grams are the best reasons for me to make this my favorite weed store.

Permafrost is a great dispensary with a super friendly staff. Their Frosted Cookies CBD strain is a personal favorite. The owner is a great guy.

I visited the store not for the first time and definitely won't be the last. I went in there with something specific in mind but decided to look around as well. I don't remember her name but the blond lady with glasses I believe, she noticed me looking around and decided to tell me about all the things that she enjoys as well as answering all my questions. She was extremely helpful and very knowledgeable. I greatly enjoyed talking to her and she definitely made my experience there very worthwhile. Thank you Permafrost for being open late!!

I’ve been to a multitude of dispensaries, mostly in the anchorage area and around the Kenia peninsula, and permafrost has quickly become my favorite. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly, and the bud they cultivate is top notch. I was recently blown away by their crop of Girl Scout cookies (my first high cbd strain). Located outside of sterling, they make for a perfect road trip pit stop. I will be returning soon!
