On my way to Lake Tahoe going down 395 i saw a sign for a dispensary..i was shocked that out in the middle of no where was a place to get exactly what i needed. I had been driving for 4 hours a little frustrated that i hadnt picked up anything before making this long trip...but to my surprise on the out skirts of a small town called independence .. Everyone was very friendly i was served by Leslie very nice and helpful and even gave me some tips on local eatery and sights ... The shop is next to a gas station/ casino. And is actually located on a Indian reservation. I got my green ,gas and a snack and got to play a little bit on the slot machine. I'll be stopping by on my way back home good quality herb and great service

I was driving south to long beach after handling the final affairs of my best friend, A Vietnam Veteran who committed suicide when I saw their sign. I decided to stop in and check it out. I was very pleasantly surprised. I let them know I was glad that Indigenous people were in the biz. An 1/8 of what I got would have cost well over $65 with the taxes. I purchased a SOUTH preroll pack. It helped with the drive and with thinking about what I was doing. I scattered his ashes this morning at his favorite beach. Thanks for being there.

We found Oak Creek passing through and we're so happy we stopped by!They have a cool drive through and walk in services. The products were affordable and high quality with a wide variety of options. The staff was super kind and knowledgeable, thanks Leslie! We bought flowers, edibles, and prerolls, all of which taste clean and fresh. We also bought feminized seeds to try at the most affordable price I've seen. What I'm most impressed with is the Punches & Cream Candle 1g infused preroll. I haven't had a more even burning, smooth, and amped up preroll from any dispensary across the USA-whomever rolled those is an artist. Thanks Oak Creek, we'll be back!

This place is nice. I was looking for some THC/CBD Infused muscle rub because I do extreme martial arts and my muscles get sore. Stuff works! Go get some. Love this place.

Stopped for gas and noticed this new dispensary outside of Independence and popped in. Super clean, nice AC and a cool selection of native-grown strains! It’s awesome right next to the gas station and casino. One stop shop.

Took a trip up 395 for the weekend and saw their signs up and down the highway. Decided to stop by on my way back. Purchased 28G of Zkittles flower along with 2 indica infused pre rolls, and it was astronomically cheaper than my home dispensary!! Walked in as a 1st timer, left as a forever patient! Staff was friendly, courteous, and informative on deals as well as gave me the rundown of how their operation works. What made me give a 5 star rating is they were very hospitable to my Mother whom had never been inside of a dispensary before today. Thank you guys & gals! Much love.

Oak Creek has now become a regular stop for me when we go up 395. I only buy flower, but the selection, quality and prices are outstanding. They also have heavy hitting infused pre rolls and packs of 2 "personal sized" pre rolls that each have 2 different strains, which is convenient and also nice to try different strains. Oak Creek dispensary is easy to access (right on 395) and has a huge parking area (which is great in case you are towing a trailer like us). Casey and Leslie have both patiently helped me and answered all my questions. Joseph (he is in the back behind the scenes) is super friendly and helpful as well. I highly recommend this dispensary!

Stopped by on the way home from Tahoe, having seen the shop on the way up 395. Purchased a pack of 5 cone variety pack of locally grown pre-rolls. There were several varieties in indica, sativa and hybrid, and each one blew my head off (the Bigfoot glue tho <3). And it was an absolute steal at 25$ Stop here on your way up 395. Buy an oz, stock up, support some of the last good locally grown cannabis in California.

I think everyone has different experiences with various strains and growers. But I personally get the best highs when I smoke Bad NDN brand flower. I started smoking in 1976 and have experienced weed from many places and growers. Unfortunately I live in Oregon now but will actually make special trips to Independence California for weed from time to time.

I absolutely love this place. My husband and I live about 15 minutes away and thank god. The prices are great, the staff is SO courteous and friendly, and they make amazing edibles.

Thought I was extremely hesitant to come back to this place , as a local I would like to see our small little busses do well. I try to support everyone trying to make their own way. A few days ago I returned for a nectar collector. The staff was educated friendly and wanted to help. Such a 360 from my first experience here. So I returned to buy some flower the green apple was alright! So today I decided I’ll give them one more try I hope it’s fire. Spending $45 on an 8th these days is a bit pricey when you usually get two8ths of Fire for $40-$60 . The runtz was worth the spend you don’t need much it smells and looks great . Best of all it’s fresh , I like that. I had a great experience and was able to inform something to one of the sales managers . I just wanted to help them in the future, something I personally was Not upset about . At the end of the day it’s just a small imperfection that you don’t notice other than visually. She said they will try to replace it & I respect that!
