Fire Mints brings a cool name and a loud jar, with different genetics circulating under the same billing.

Origin 1: Seed Junky Genetics crosses Fire OG with an Animal Mints backcross, Animal Mints BX1. This version is associated with pungent lemon, sweet cream, mint, and spicy kush. The BX1 designation belongs to the Animal Mints parent; it isn’t an extra ingredient.

Origin 2: ZP Strains lists a separate Fire Mints pairing Dante’s Inferno with Gush Mints. That is a different cross, so the Seed Junky version’s flavor, effects, and growing specifications should stay attached to its own genetics.

For Seed Junky’s version, lemon and cream give the sweetness some shape, while mint and earthy spice keep it from smelling like straight dessert. Some flower takes a decidedly savory turn, with a pungent aroma reminiscent of seasoning and baked potato chips. The name suggests an after-dinner mint; the jar may still smell like dinner.

The flavor can be gentler than the nose, bringing earthy notes, fresh sweetness, and a lingering kush finish. Dense, rounded forest-green buds carry fine red-orange pistils and a coat of pale, sometimes golden-looking trichomes. The flowers have enough visual frost to match the Mints billing, even when the aroma has wandered into the spice cupboard.

Smokers report physical relaxation, but the shutdown isn’t unanimous. One firsthand account describes a focused mind and comfortable body without pronounced sedation, while other profiles lean happy, hazy, and sleepy. Fire Mints can leave room for a conversation instead of turning every sentence into a farewell. Think shoes off, something good on the speakers, and no particular interest in checking the time. How far the evening slows depends on the flower and the session.
