Aroma | Eucalyptus, Fig, Musk Candles All of my candles come pre-trimmed, so grab your favorite instrument for starting a fire and away we go. I like using long-necked lighters especially once you get more than halfway down your candle. When you first light the candle, please let it burn for a minimum of two hours for the 3 oz. candle and three hours for the 9 oz. candle or until there is a pool of wax covering the top of the candle. With the 9 oz. candle, you won’t always get a full melt pool until about 1/3 – 1/2 way down the candle. So, burn the 9 oz. candle for three hours at a time until a full melt pool forms. When you’re ready to re-light the candle, make sure the wax has completely hardened and trim the wick each time before lighting. The best way I’ve found to trim wick is either with wick scissors or using your thumb and fore finger to lightly pinch off the burnt/loose portions of the wick. The latter method is my preferred way of trimming a wick. Once trimmed and lit, burn the 3 oz. candle no more than two hours at a time and the 9 oz. candle no more than three hours at a time or until the melt pool is about 1/4” - 3/8” deep. Following this suggestion ensures that the candles won’t soot or greatly reduce burn times. Try to place the candles where they aren’t next to vents, open windows, or around fans. Doing so will negatively affect the burn time of the candle and the scent dispersion. The intent of this candle is to be lit while taking a bath or to have a good smelling buddy during the work day!
