Face Off OG puts an old-school face on premium gas. This indica-leaning selection of OG Kush traces back to flower circulating through Southern California’s underground market in the late 1990s. Archive Seed Bank’s ThaDocta received six seeds from those batches and selected plant #4 for its distinctive flavor and formidable head high. That keeper became the foundation for Archive’s Face Off breeding work.

The Face Off OG strain keeps its flavor firmly in OG territory: earthy funk, sharp pine, citrus, and a fuel-heavy finish. Some batches lean toward an acrid, almost ammonia-like nose. Lime-green buds, orange to reddish pistils, and a frosty coating of trichomes give the flower plenty of bag appeal, but the jar’s first impression is usually gas.

Fans of the smoke circle describe a rush of euphoria followed by deep physical relaxation, tingles, and eventual sleepiness. Face Off OG effects can also include dizziness, especially when the session gets ahead of your tolerance. For the “Face Off OG indica or sativa?” crowd, it lands on the indica-leaning side, though that opening head rush hardly waits for an invitation. The name has action-movie energy; the evening may have fewer stunts.

Face Off OG genetics also run through some familiar jars. Archive’s backcrossed line helped produce Do-Si-Dos and Oregon Lemons, extending this OG’s reach well beyond the original cut. Face Off OG BX1 and Face Off OG BX2 identify later breeding generations, not interchangeable names for the original #4 clone.

Face Off's THC percentages tell you about the tested batch, not every flower, cart, or concentrate carrying the name. The same goes for Face Off OG terpenes: myrcene, limonene, and caryophyllene are commonly reported, but their proportions vary.

Let the label handle the numbers and the nose handle introductions.
