Uptown Funk - Jackson, MS

New location & Friendly helpful staff. I bought the Farmer’s Friend (Good Day Farms) and Blue Label (Mockingbird). The Blue Label (indica) - I find it works well for relieving stress, chronic pain, anxiety and insomnia. There’s definitely some of DJ Shorts blueberry lineage coming thru on the back end of the flavor and the nice calming effect. These are well manicure indica buds. Mild floral and cedar smells and a blue-mossy floral exhale. The effects come on in a few minutes. Good for everyday use for my pain and noticeable anti-anxiety effect that relaxes tension. 19.8% THC , 1.34% terpines. The Farmer’ Friend (indica) - good cure on these nugs. A Boveda pack is included in the jar keeping it nice & sticky with proper moisture level. Dense frosty green nugs are well manicured. The burn stays lit in the bowl, with a nice even smolder. First timers only a few puffs and wait 30 minutes to let it show it’s potent effects. only need a small amount in the bowl, making it efficient for patients. 25.2% THC with terpines d-Limonene .41%, b-caryophylene .41% and Linalool 3.33%. Flavor upon exhaling is mild. Effect isn’t too cloudy and lasts 1-2+hours easily.

Good spot good people.

Good selection. Getting better the more I go. Knowledgeable staff. Mockingbird is my favorite brand. My faves form them: Banana cream pie, cookies & cream, Jadelato, gluelato, in that order. Grapefruit juice is an awesome daytime smoke too. Not too sedating. Carts they make are the gold rush and they’re all good. Just pick a good strain you’d use for medicine because it’s full spectrum. Not distillate. They have distillate but I use it for pain, insomnia and nausea, so the full spectrum concentrate works better for me. Southern sky and river remedy also have some great strains. Peanut butter soufflé is a great afternoon/evening calming pain reliever. Pancakes is awesome for a morning smoke. Good relief and tastes kinda like blueberry pancakes. Not sedating but doesn’t activate my anxiety. Blunicorn also is a great daytime to get some things done. Go see these people if you read this far. Awesome products. And look up the strains on Leafly that I didn’t explain, there’s alot of reviews.

This is the first store I went to and my Fave

I literally just left the store I got some good stuff & normally I just stick to like strawberry kiwi or pineapple, but my budtender showed me these nano gummies I wouldn’t have picked out myself… I absolutely love them. They taste like cake 🍰 and I feel so much better 🙌 Nobody else was there so I had all them helping! Go get the stuff before it goes off sale. I got the coastal crop jelly breath cake batter. Atmosphere is everything

I wanted to take the time to say how much I really enjoyed my experience in your store today! It was the first dispensary I visited after receiving my license and the staff was just top notch! I was greeted or acknowledged by every single staff member and they were all so helpful and didn’t make me feel uncomfortable in the slightest for not knowing what I was talking about or asking questions. I didn’t feel pressured or rushed to make a decision on what to buy and they even took the time to show me how to use what I purchased properly. Definitely a 5 star rating and worth checking out.

Uptown Funk was one of the first dispensaries I made sure a visit was paid to. Always having good deals, sales, etc. on a variety of brands and strains I’ve yet to see anywhere else! Knowledgeable staff, and they know their product, well. Felt like part of the family, given the short time I was there. Easy 5 stars. Would’ve given a “6” if it were possible. Do yourself a favor and pay them a visit, you’ll be glad you did! ps everything ‘medical cannabis’ is on the pricey side, EVERYWHERE in MS. hopefully, sooner before later, that will change. I’m trying to be patient as well. remember, it is sort of new to MS, still. Go to Uptown Funk, even if it’s out of the way!

First experience in a MS dispensary

Farmer is your Friend

Met three lovely young ladies, who were very knowledgeable about their products. picked Blue Chip, Farmers Friend, and Butter Biscuits. Farmers Friend mellow chillaxin, head is still clear but you enjoy life. You have get up and go but not want to clean you house level. Blue Chip, warm fuzzies, body and brain high you will sit on the couch. Butter Biscuits got insomnia this is for you. You will relax whether you to or not. End of day strain. All were high quality and well trimmed. Hats off to the ladies there

Bud tender Blues w Alesha the elder

Budtender Alesha is either a wrinkly pwussy racist (has an issue with biracial women) or just doesn’t like ME specifically. I give her money in hand she places my change on the counter. She bends down below the counter to whisper how much change I get back before placing it on GLASS counter rather than on my hand. Alesha is rude and disrespectful (doesn’t want to be at work) each time I’ve come to uptown. May she receive the same treatment she gave to me each day of her miserable life. I place my orders a few hours before coming to pick up because that’s the option they give.. Order + pick- up and EVERYTIME I place my order THEY cancel it and ACT lost af when I show them in the Weedmaps App that they canceled my order(s). Why is this happening? Patients shouldn’t be mistreated nor have to argue with bud tenders. How can you be mad around herb?
