I always have such a great experience at Unwind. The staff is friendly, very knowledgeable, and always willing to help you find exactly what you’re looking for without making it feel overwhelming. The selection is solid with a nice variety of products, and everything feels clean, organized, and professional. GROWING & IMPROVING
When our customers give us on feedback how we can improve, we listen!
In 2024, we completed the rollout of expanded nutrition and allergen-based product information listings across our website and within category lists throughout the store. This initiative was an important step in providing our customers with greater transparency and easier access to the details they need when making purchasing decisions. We take great pride in the quality of our products and work hard to ensure that everything is properly labeled with all necessary nutrition and allergy information, helping customers shop with confidence and peace of mind.
In 2025, we began the process of becoming an adult-use recreational dispensary in Minnesota, taking the necessary steps to position our business for the future of the cannabis industry in the state. As part of this transition, we completed a full store renovation designed to meet evolving regulatory requirements while creating a more modern, welcoming, and efficient shopping experience for our customers. Upgrades included improvements to store layout, product displays, security systems, operational workflows, and customer service areas to better support both compliance and convenience. Throughout the year, we also continued investing in staff training, product education, and overall customer experience initiatives to ensure we were fully prepared to serve the growing needs of our community. These efforts reflected our commitment to growth, professionalism, and providing a first-class retail experience.
In January 2026, we received our cannabis microbusiness license, marking an exciting new chapter for our company. In April 2026, we began selling cannabis flower for the first time. This milestone represents a major step forward in expanding our product offerings, and we look forward to continuing to grow and serve our customers with high-quality cannabis products.
FRIENDLY & EDUCATED STAFF
We pride ourselves in providing the best customer service available. Our friendly and knowledgeable staff are always happy to suggest their favorite products or answer any questions you may have about our products, cannabis, or the current state laws regarding cannabis and hemp products.
In early 2024, Minnesota State University and Technical College in Moorhead began offering courses in cannabis retail, cultivation, and manufacturing. In keeping with our mission of providing the best service available, the Unwind team got to work!
All of our staff are now currently enrolled, or already certified, in cannabis retail, cultivation, or manufacturing, and are happy to use this education to answer any questions you may have.

Here at Unwind, we are passionate about supporting our fellow local businesses. As such, many of the products we carry are sourced from Minnesota-based companies like Retro Bakery, Crested River, Minny Grown, and more!
We are also proud to source our cannabis flower and many of our cannabis products from local Minnesota growers and producers who focus on small-batch cultivation and high-quality craftsmanship. By partnering with local cultivators, we are able to offer fresh, carefully produced products while helping strengthen the growing cannabis community right here in our home state. Supporting local means investing in our neighbors, creating opportunities for small businesses, and bringing customers products they can feel good about purchasing.
As the Minnesota cannabis industry continues to expand as, we hope to keep growing our selection of locally sourced and delicious products!

In September 2022, Unwind opened its doors and became one of the F-M area's first ever Delta-9 THC and CBD edibles store! Today we proudly carry over 30 brands and a wide selection of over 450 different THC and CBD products. In January 2026, we received our cannabis microbusiness license and, in April 2026, began selling cannabis flower for the first time. This marked an exciting new chapter for Unwind as we expanded our product selection and continued growing to better serve our customers. Our selection is also ever-expanding!
